The location was perfect for exploring the town, with the castle and museum just a short walk away. the house itself was cozy and stylish, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and cookies upon arrival. One of the highlights was the garden, where I enjoyed a peaceful morning coffee. Being able to relax outside was a real treat. the fireplace added a touch of charm in the evenings, creating a cozy atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. As a cycling enthusiast, I loved that the area was great for cycling, and I even took advantage of the nearby golfing and fishing opportunities. the University of Sussex was also just a short drive away, making it convenient for me to explore the area. Overall, Cliffe Cottage was the perfect base for my Lewes adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in this charming town.
